Pretty Deadly are not happy about Tyler Bate’s SmackDown debut

In fact, they want their loss to Bate & Butch thrown out... but they just lost their basis for that argument.

As rumored, Tyler Bate made his main roster television debut last night (Jan. 5) on SmackDown. He was Butch’s mystery partner for a match against Pretty Deadly.

Bate & his old British Strong Style partner picked up a win, with the former NXT Tag champ pinning Kit Wilson after a tandem Tyler Driver ‘97.

So the night was a success for the b i g s t r o n g b o i. But Wilson and tag partner Elton Prince want it stricken from the official WWE record. Pretty Deadly swear they’re not just upset because one of the guys who took the NXT UK Tag titles from them back in 2021 (along with his Mustache Mountain partner Trent Seven) just beat them again. Nope, it’s because he’s not on the roster. And like the great Eddie Redmayne, they shouldn’t have to face curveballs anyway...

Unfortunately for PD, Nick Aldis is running a pretty tight ship on Friday nights these days, and he's already officially added Bate to the roster page...

Tyler & WWE are celebrating that on Instagram.

Sorry boys. But congrats to Tyler Bate!
