Afa the Wild Samoan released from the hospital

It was just days ago we got unfortunate news of Afa the Wild Samoan suffering multiple heart attacks while he was hospitalized for pneumonia. Considering the WWE Hall of Famer is 81-years-old, this was great cause for concern but his prognosis seemed good and he was trending in the right direction with spirits high that he would recover.

Thankfully, today’s update is a good one: he’s going home!

It’s been a harrowing few days, but our beloved Pops, #WWE Hall of Famer Afa the Wild Samoan, is coming home from the hospital today! He battles pneumonia and two mild heart attacks, but in his own words: “I kicked out at 1!”

This comes on the heels of news from last month from his Facebook page that included a post about Afa undergoing an exploratory heart procedure before possible valve replacement surgery, and a notice canceling a training seminar “due to increased medical concerns”.

Thankfully, Roman Reigns’ uncle is on the road to recovery!
