Giovanni Vinci says he’s ‘fine’ after bad bump on Raw

During the special “Day 1” episode of Monday Night Raw in San Diego this week, Giovanni Vinci came off the ropes and got hit with a dropkick by Kofi Kingston. When he landed, it appeared he hit his head hard on the mat and the match was stopped shortly after, with Kingston and Jey Uso declared winners over Imperium.

Kingston and Uso looked like they were upset in the moment but seemed to be trying to keep kayfabe during an uncertain and unfortunate situation. Vinci could be seen being helped backstage, but he did walk out on his own power. He later took to Twitter to provide an update:

That translates roughly, per Google, to “I am fine. A thousand thanks.”

WWE has yet to provide any official update on his injury status as of this writing.
