WWE NXT RESULTS AND LIVE BLOG FOR JULY 25
You’ve searching for your mind don’t know where to start, can’t find the key to fit the lock on your heart. You think you know but you are never quite sure, your soul is ill but you will not find a cure, but me? I’m just here to liveblog this here pro wrestling show for you, folks.
The show opens with a recap of Dominik Mysterio winning the NXT North American Championship last week.
Mysterio makes his entrance, flanked as usual by Rhea Ripley.
They get in the ring and on the mic and Rhea reaffirms that Judgment Day runs WWE. She talks about Lyra Valkyria—
Enter Wes Lee.
He’s not taking this anymore, and he hates seeing his title in Dominik’s hands. For 269 days, that title represented hard work and opportunity, and he put his heart and soul into it, and to lose it the way he did, you best believe he wants his rematch. Ripley says a new champion is exactly what NXT needed.
Wes agrees... that they need a new champion tonight.
Enter Mustafa Ali.
He says he has love and respect for Lee, but he’s got no love or respect for Dom for stealing the title from him. And that’s what he does, he steals catchphrases, his dad’s 619, his other daddy’s frog splash, and now Mustafa’s opportunity. He slips calls Wes a dummy for putting the title on the line and he’s honest about being angry and says he warned Lee not to take the match but he was too stupid to listen.
They jaw, Dom says this sounds like a “you guys” kind of problem and not a “Mami and Dom-Dom” problem, and he doesn’t care if one or both of them fight him at Great American Bash. Mysterio tries to cold-shoulder Ali, Ali tries to blast him but Dom ducks, Wes eats it and they brawl until they notice Judgment Day looking on, all smiles.
Tony D’Angelo and Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo are interviewed backstage.
D’Angelo says he’ll never forget the reaction the NXT fans gave him, and Stacks says they’re gonna win the tag titles.
Bronco Nima and Lucien Price roll up to talk some trash. Tony says Sunday is Sunday and he needs to shake some rust off, so he’ll see them later tonight.
Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams make their entrance and we go to break.
Back from commercial, we get footage from last night of Lyra Valkyria challenging Rhea Ripley to a match tonight.
Lyra is interviewed backstage tonight and says Rhea is the measuring stick and she’s not going to just bide her time and wait in the shadows, and tonight is about her showing the world who she is.

Bron gets a chair but referees swarm and keep him away from Von, who Robert Stone is protecting with his body.
Gable Steveson is shown walking backstage to send us to break.
Ilja Dragunov is walking backstage when Carmelo Hayes rolls up.
Hayes says this is as far as they go, Dragunov says he’s coming for the title, and Trick Williams rolls up all hot about Ilja hitting him tonight. Dragunov says he likes Trick, but if he comes at him like a man, he’ll break him. Williams is fighting mad, Hayes begs him to be professional about it, but Trick is gonna call his punk ass out.
Gable Steveson makes his entrance and gets on the mic.
He offers up his credentials for anyone that doens’t know and talks about all his options going forward—
Enter Baron Corbin.
Corbin warns him that what he says next could determine his entire future and he wants to offer some advice, man-to-man. Go back to college! Win another title! Go back to the Olympics! Win another gold medal! Just don’t come to NXT, because if he does, Baron will make him fail.
He says he’s swimming with sharks and eye-to-eye with a great white who’s starving and smells blood. Steveson says he just made his decision easier— he challenges Corbin to a match at Great American Bash and lays him out with a pair of suplexes!

Stepping on Dana’s hand, wailing on her with more kendo stick shots, drawing her up, scoop and a slam into the bamboo! Kendo stick-assisted crossface, rising knee, underhooks but Brooke breaks away! The rally doesn’t last, double underhook DDT... DANA BROOKE KICKS OUT!
Dana with kendo stick shots now, hammering away with abandon, Dana goes up top...
Dana Brooke wins by pinfall with a senton atomico onto a chair.
Backstage, Carmelo Hayes talks to Ilja Dragunov. Dragunov says if Trick challenges him he’ll break him, and on Sunday, he’ll break Hayes.
And we go to break.
Back from commercial, Charlie Dempsey is stretching some guy when Drew Gulak pulls him aside and gives him a pep talk.
Damon Kemp rolls up to work something out as far as a training partnership goes and they agree to see what happens.

Lorenzo floats over a slam, tag to D’Angelo, off the ropes with a kick, back and forth, Stacks finds himself on the wrong side of town!
