Get up and get your grandma out of here. Pick up, old Jim is working hard this year. And, baby, do the things he says to do, while I liveblog this here pro wrestling show for you, folks.

The show opens with Drew McIntyre making his entrance and getting on the mic.

He welcomes us to the show and talks about how hypocrites can leave and do whatever they want and come back and be instantly forgiven, these days. Seth Rollins tried to pull a fast one on him last week by giving Jey Uso the title match tonight to stick it to him and metaphorically slap him, so he headbutted him in his stupid face.

And speaking of Jey Uso, oh my god he’s capable of an apology? His time is coming. But there’s somebody he’s forgetting...

Enter Sami Zayn.

Drew has something to say to him and it’s the truth, and that he’s the one person in the world that deserved to get screwed over by the Bloodline. He was part of the Bloodline, their lapdog and errand boy, running away from Drew every single week and then he screwed them over? What did he think was gonna happen? He deserved it.

Sami says he’s right about one thing and that’s that the more he hears, the more he’s sure they’re not alike and he’s not delusional, he doesn’t point fingers at everyone else’s shortcomings, and when he lost his title shot he stayed driven and it carried him all the way to victory in the main event of WrestleMania.

So he got redeption and he got to make his family proud. Does Drew think he’s making his family proud? McIntyre says one of them isn’t walking out tonight and calls for a referee.

Rod Zapata comes to ringside and off we go!

Drew McIntyre vs. Sami Zayn

McIntyre with chops in the corner, action to the floor, Zayn fights out of being posted and turns the tables briefly. Back inside, Sami with a tope con giro and we go to break!

Back from commercial, still on the floor, trading chops, moonsault off the barricade! Back inside, Drew regaining control, drawing Sami up, a big chop, Zayn struggles but throws his own back, up on the second, boot up, diving elbow to the dome! Sami limping but he’s fired up, sidestep, McIntyre hard into the post!

Zayn with a straight suplex, tilt-a-whirl DDT, cover for two! Drew with belly-to-belly suplexes, the jumping neckbreaker, kip-up and he’s feeling it! Sami sends him to the floor, plancha but Drew catches him and throws him into the announce desk to send us to break!

Back from commercial, McIntyre has the inverted Alabama Slam but Zayn reverses into a victory roll for two! Jackknife pin off a spinebuster from Drew, sitout spinebuster... STILL NO! Fireman’s carry, headed up top, looking for avalanche White Noise, Sami reverses into a sunset flip powerbomb... SO CLOSE!

Back and forth, countdown, cut the Claymore off with a kick... DREW KICKS OUT OF THE BLUE THUNDER DRIVER! Over the top and to the floor, Sami so spent he can’t stand, McIntyre lines him up, chop block cuts him off, referee Rod Zapata admonishes him but Drew is right on Sami as soon as he gets up...

Drew McIntyre wins by pinfall with Claymore.

Backstage, Byron Saxton interviews Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark.

Shayna says she has one goal tonight— reminding Nia Jax that she put her on the shelf two years ago, and reminding her of that, limb by limb.

And so we go to break.

Back from commercial, we get some hype for Tribute to the Troops this week on SmackDown.

“Main Event” Jey Uso cuts a promo about getting a title shot, an opportunity he thought would never be afforded him again after his own twin brother, the man he loves most in the world, took it from him. Tonight he’s gonna prove why they call him “Main Event” Jey Uso.

Sami Zayn is getting checked on by trainers backstage when Drew McIntyre rolls up to beat the crap out of him some more, screaming about how they’re nothing alike as he hammers him with punches to the head! RUNNING STOMP TO THE INJURED KNEE!

Adam Pearce shows up and calls for medical assistance and we go to break.

Back from commercial, we get a recap of what we just saw, because Raw is three hours long. (Three hours long.)

Trainers are checking on Sami Zayn while Jey Uso tells him it’s gonna be alright.

Byron Saxton interviews Becky Lynch backstage but Nia Jax interrupts and tells him to get lost.

She says Becky was talking about fights she had on her horizon and Lynch says she’d be number one on her list because she’d forgotten about her but they never really got to go one-on-one and she still owes Jax a receipt. Nia says after she’s done with Shayna Baszler, she’s all hers.

Nia Jax vs. Shayna Baszler

Baszler hot out the gates, rising knee in the corner, working Jax’s arm, top wristlock in the ropes, Nia counters with a sitout powerbomb! To the floor, Jax follows after her, smashes Shayna into the announce desk, putting Nia spine-first into the post, Penalty Kick to the arm, going for a bicep stomp but Jax sweeps her leg out from under her and we go to break!

Back from commercial, Nia in control, putting Shayna into the post repeatedly, bouncing her face off the steel! Off the ropes, Jax gets her with a side slam, Cobra Clutch applied. Baszler breaks away, off the ropes, caught with a Samoan Drop! Shayna laying kicks in, off the ropes, Nia pops up and cuts her off!

Running senton follows... NOPE! Jax up top, Shayna with an ankle lock, German suplex out of the corner! Kirifuda Clutch applied, Nia fading, Baszler suffocating her, taking her back, Jax barely posts up to her feet and counters with a senton! In the corner...

We get a video package for CM Punk’s return to WWE.

Roll-through kick on Giovanni, elbows for Ludwig, duck a forearm, off the ropes, La Mistica plants him! Back body drop to the apron, enzuigiri, kick to Vinci, Superman Spear connects! Tag to Ciampa, setting him up, but he ducks Meet in the Middle...

Imperium win the first fall by pinfall with a folding press from Ludwig Kaiser on Tommaso Ciampa, going up 1-0.

#DIY dive on them and we go to break!

Back from commercial, Vinci working Gargano over, but he steals one...

#DIY win the second fall by pinfall with a schoolboy pin from Johnny Gargano on Giovanni Vinci, evening things up 1-1.

Ciampa throwing chops on both guys, duck punches, double clothesline! DIY clobber Giovanni in the corner, back suplex / powerbomb combo, Kaiser breaks it up! Fakeout low superkick, Vinci cuts him off with a quebradora, only two! Quick tags, working John over, Tom breaks it up!

The match breaks down into “everybody do something cool” territory and all four men are down and out! Ciampa on his feet in the corner first, Kaiser after, tags made! Uppercuts from Ludwig, Tom sets him up top, no deal, Gargano back in, he escapes a quick cover attempt, tag back...

#DIY win the third and final fall by pinfall with Meet in the Middle on Ludwig Kaiser, going 2-1.

Natalya and Tegan Nox confront Chelsea Green and Piper Niven backstage.

The tag champs give them crap for trying to make this work, they insist they’re gonna win the tag titles, and so on, and we go to break.

Back from commercial, we get a recap of the Creeds becoming #1 contenders and the New Day hype them up until Alpha Academy roll up.

Chad Gable is also proud of them but warns them it only gets tougher from here. Julius Creed says Ivy Nile is their secret weapon against Rhea Ripley, and Gable talks up how strong Maxxine Dupri is getting and has her squat Akira Tozawa a bunch.

Backstage, R-Truth is in Judgment Day’s clubhouse again. He talks up the “almost flat” TV he got them, JD McDonagh tells him to leave the clubhouse and he does even though he’s under the impression that he’s part of Judgment Day.

Damian Priest complains about Drew McIntyre and says Rhea and Finn Balor aren’t here tonight so he’s in charge and Dominik Mysterio and JD are gonna show the Creeds they don’t belong.

Katana Chance and Kayden Carter make their entrance and we go to break.

Back from commercial, we get a hype reel for more Big 12 stuff, which I do not know what it is. (Please do not try and tell me, I am begging you.)

Katana Chance & Kayden Carter vs. Natalya & Tegan Nox

Chelsea Green and Piper Niven are on commentary for this one.

Carter and Natalya to start, tag to Chance, Neidhart gets away, military press powerslam on Katana! Carter back in off a double-team, stacking Nattie up in the corner, crossbody, snapmare, tag to Nox! Back and forth, sidestep Kayden into the corner, Shotei connects! Senton in the corner, somersault senton, blind tag, tag to Neidhart!

Chance with a Codebreaker, tag to Carter, double powerbomb from Nattie, cover for two! Clubbing blow, slingshot Atomic Drop attempt, Kayden rolls her through into a basement superkick! Tag to Chance, assisted corkscrew splash...

Katana Chance & Kayden Carter win by pinfall with an assisted corkscrew splash on Natalya.

Chelsea Green is upset about this and gets blasted off the apron by Katana!

And so we go to break.

Back from commercial, “American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes makes his entrance and gets on the mic.

He talks about the first time he saw the mist, as a little boy, being terrified of the man who did it, the Great Muta. Now having experienced it, his fears as a child were justified, but he’s not pointing fingers or casting blame because when you have big aspirations you paint a target on your back and he did that when he declared for the 2024 Royal Rumble.

Shinsuke Nakamura has his attention, so there’s two things they can do. Nakamura could emerge from the shadows and explain himself, or he could march down here and they could fight right now. Nothing happens, Cody starts talking again, and the lights dim.

Shinsuke appears on the tron and cuts a promo about how he made Cody’s eyes burn last week, but tonight he will open them and show him what he’s not seeing, how their pathes are the very same story. He talks about climbing the mountain, seeing the top, slipping and tumbling into a bottomless pit.

He tells Rhodes he’ll never make it back there but he’s awakened him and he will unburden him, step in his shoes, and take that story off his hands. Nakamura never got to finish his story, so now he’ll finish Cody’s.

The lights come back and Rhodes says he appreciates Shinsuke thinking maybe they’ve had similar paths, but until he stands in this ring he doesn’t rate him and he doesn’t respect him. He’s never run from a fight, and if Nakamura wants to prove they’re the same, he’ll show him.

We get a recap of Drew McIntyre beating the hell out of Sami Zayn earlier.

Jey Uso is in Adam Pearce’s office to ask how Sami is doing and pledges to take care of Drew McIntyre himself. He’s locked in for tonight and Adam tells him not to risk the main event.

GUNTHER rolls up to chat with the general manager.

The Judgment Day B-squad make their entrance and we go to break.

Creed Brothers (Brutus & Julius Creed) vs. Judgment Day (Dominik Mysterio & JD McDonagh)

Brutus and Dominik to start, Mysterio kicks him low but Creed counters by marching him around the ring in a delayed vertical, tagging to Julius and passing him off as R-Truth comes to ringside! The elder Creed marches him around some more befor completing the suplex and dropping him!

Tag to McDonagh, rough grappling, tag to Brutus, fireman’s carries, grinding JD down with a kneeling armbar. R-Truth cheering his Judgment Day teammates on, McDonagh getting manhandled, off the ropes, blind tag, Brutus sent to the floor and so is Julius! Asai Moonsault from McDonagh wipes the Creeds out and we go to break!

Back from commercial, Mysterio with the Three Amigos, reversed on the third, both men down and out! Tag to Julius, belly-to-belly suplexes for everyone with abandon! Electric chair, JD goes for a Poison Frankensinter, blocked on the first try, the second connects!

Julius down, JD with a tope con giro to take Brutus out on the floor, 619 from Dominik... SO CLOSE! Creed with a double northern lights suplex, fired up, front chancery, tag to Brutus, he pounces Mysterio into the announce desk! Inverted suplex lift from Julius, electric chair...

Creed Brothers win by pinfall with the Brutus Ball Doomsday Device on JD McDonagh.

We get a recap of Randy Orton signing with SmackDown.

Adam Pearce talks to Seth Rollins backstage and tells him he’s invited CM Punk to Raw next week to sign an exclusive contract. Seth tells him he doesn’t give a damn but when Punk shows the world who he is he’ll know, and he needs to let Rollins do what he does.

Jey Uso rolls up to give the champion some respect and says this is his night and he’s telling him right now he’s looking at the new World Heavyweight Champion. Seth laughs along and gets serious and tells him he’ll stomp his face into the mat the first chance he gets. Uso says he’ll return the favor and they fist bump about it.

Jey Uso makes his entrance and we go to break.

Back from commercial, Damian Priest gets an after-action report from McDonagh and Mysterio and is told that the Creeds are the real deal and he should take them seriously.

Commentary hypes up next week’s show.

“Main Event” Jey Uso vs. Seth Rollins (c) (WWE World Heavyweight Championship)

Collar and elbow, struggling around the ring, back to the lockup, Rollins with a wristlock, reverse to a headlock, shot off, shoulder block, cover for one. Seth with a schoolboy for two, Blackout, Jey has it scouted, cover for two, stalemate and we go to break!

Underhooks, back body drop counters, pin, only two! Superkick from the champion, Jey gives one right back, rolling elbow, another superkick, Uso up top... ROLLINS KICKS OUT OF THE DIVING SPLASH!

Headed back up top, Seth meets him, superplex, roll through into the Falcon Arrow... JEY KICKS OUT! Underhooks, he gets the Pedigree this time but still Jey Uso won’t let his chance slip through his fingers! Lining him up, waiting for Jey to post up on his hands, he has Blackout scouted, hits a spear... STILL NO!

Seth Rollins wins by pinfall with Blackout, retaining the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

Post-match, Drew McIntyre appears to attack Jey Uso! Seth tries to cut him off and fails! Drew puts Uso through the announce desk with a Crash Landing!

That’s the show, folks.
