WWE names the best entrances of 2023

It’s the end of the year, and that means a WWE Top 10 focused on the very best of it. In this case, WWE is giving us its list of the best entrances of 2023:

10. Cody Rhodes, Money in the Bank
9. Bianca Belair, WrestleMania 39
8. Jey Uso, Survivor Series
7. Sami Zayn, SmackDown in Montreal
6. John Cena, WrestleMania 39
5. Pat McAfee, Royal Rumble
4. Dominik Mysterio, WrestleMania 39
3. Bad Bunny, Backlash
2. CM Punk, Survivor Series
1. Logan Paul, WrestleMania 39

I am irrationally angry about this list, mostly because Bad Bunny’s entrance is a comfort clip for me and I will maintain until I die that it is one of the coolest entrances WWE has ever done. That’s in part because while I understand everything about WWE — and pro wrestling more generally, really — is overdone for the sake of the performance of it all I quite liked how Bunny’s entrance was played straight up and still that cool.

Punk at number two, okay, that was a historic moment that held significant meaning enough that I’m fine with it being ahead of Bunny but Paul’s zipline entrance at WrestleMania does not belong at number one.

Just my opinion.
