Logan Paul plans to ‘take over’ WWE and ‘disrupt the entire industry’

YouTube star Logan Paul will defend the United States Championship next month at WWE Royal Rumble 2024 against either Kevin Owens or Santos Escobar.

There’s no doubt that Paul is already brainstorming ways to make sure he’s the center of attention when that event is over. In a video on Paul’s YouTube channel where he looks back on how things went in 2023, the US champ makes it clear that his goal is to take over the pro wrestling industry.

He starts by commenting on his viral moment with Ricochet at Royal Rumble 2023:

“I was really proud of this move because it’s hard to do something original in the WWE. And some of the moments I’ve had this year in wrestling, I will remember for the rest of my life.”

Logan is most proud of avoiding the injured list despite taking some crazy risks in the ring:

“This is actually my greatest accomplishment of this year. I went injury free. But I did get close to almost breaking my neck at Money in the Bank. Look, accidents happen, like when I almost broke Rey Mysterio’s neck, but then saved him.”

With the new year just around the corner, Paul is eager to raise the bar from here:

“If you’ve followed my journey for ten years now on the Internet, I don’t just do things to take part. I do them to take over. And I fully plan on doing that with the WWE. The future is bright, and I am going to make a lot of noise and disrupt the entire industry.”

Those are lofty ambitions for someone who doesn’t even have 10 professional wrestling matches under his belt. Do you think he will find a way to make this vision a reality?
