Raw’s Christmas clip show draws smallest audience in show’s history


This year wasn’t the first time WWE aired a “Best of” clip show during Christmas week. They did the same thing last year. But the holiday didn’t fall on Dec. 25 last year, and that seems to have made a big difference.

Per Wrestlenomics, Monday’s episode averaged 698,000 viewers per hour from 8-11pm ET. With 18-49 year olds, it had a .18 rating. That’s a 35% drop in overall audience and a 33% drop in the demo compared to the 2022 “Best of” that aired on Dec. 26 last year. Wrestlenomics also points out it’s “by far the lowest viewership ever for Raw”.

Can’t compete with the NFL, NBA, and all those presents people unwrapped the night before or morning of.

Next week should be a big bounce back, as the loaded “Day 1” episode of Raw kicks off WWE’s “New Year’s Knockout Week”. We’ll see how well it does.
