Come right back here at 8 pm ET when the Raw live blog will kick off once the show starts on USA Network. It will be below this line here. Reminder: GIFs and pics allowed, but no links to illegal streams, please.

Rest your head my love, rest your tired limbs. Leave your mind at peace, what are you thinking now? Thinking of a girl as golden as the sun, but alas, I must liveblog this pro wrestling show now.

The show opens with the intro video.

Judgment Day make their entrance and get on the mic.

Damian Priest tells the crowd to rise for them and Finn Balor congratulates the Creed Brothers for running the gauntlet and earning a title shot. For them it’s the biggest match of their career, but for him and Priest it’s just another night at the office.

Rhea Ripley says they’re gonna run 2024 just like they ran 2023, and Dominik Mysterio tries to speak only to get booed out of the building.

Enter R-Truth.

He complains that they left him out of opening the show and opening the show is his favorite thing. JD McDonagh asks what he’s doing and Truth says he’s in Judgment Day now, after the initiation beatdown he got last week. He’s not one to complain but they kinda crossed a line, and he was hurt physically and emotionally.

He knows DP didn’t mean it when he said he didn’t like him, and he saw it in his eyes. McDonagh says if getting hurt is what he’s worried about then he’d get the hell out of the ring right now. Truth says Rhea’s getting Ivy Nile, Finn and Damian are getting the Creeds, and that means he needs somebody to beat up on tonight! JD steps up to him and Ron points out there’s a lot of animosity between them and he wants to squash the beef so they can be one happy family, and he proposes a Miracle on 34th Street Fight to do so.

McDonagh points out it’s already advertised and booked, and Truth says they better hurry because 34th Street is a long way away. JD says he better put his phone down because the match is happening now and he’s not in Judgment Day. Ron rolls with it and books it as a “Loser Leaves Judgment Day” match.

JD protests, Damian steps up and says it’s a good idea, and McDonagh says it doesn’t matter because Truth will need a miracle to win anyway.

JD McDonagh vs. R-Truth (Loser Leaves Judgment Day Miracle on 34th Street Fight)

Truth right in with a double leg into mounted punches, McDonagh sidesteps the scissors kick, into the ropes, putting boots to him, smashing Ron into the corner! Dominik slides JD a candy cane kendo stick. Truth ducks and dodges, scissors kick takes him out! Ron spanks his ass and sensds him to the floor where he smashes into a table full of cookies!

Throwing a present at him... VAN DAMINIATOR! Truth hugs Mysterio on the floor and of course Dominik throws him into the ringpost and we go to break!

Back from commercial, whip into the corner, Stinger Splash, hip toss, Truth in control but he can’t put McDonagh down! Ron gets a table out from under the ring, low blow, he puts Dom into the steel steps and goes back under the ring and gets a fire extinguisher and gives JD a face-full of CO2!

Fall-forward Blue Thunder Driver, looking for the Five Knuckle Shuffle, JD tries to cut him off but Truth recovers, “You can’t see me!”, Five Knuckle Shuffle connects! Fireman’s carry, off the ropes, Ron passes him to the floor and follows after with a Christmas tree in hand! He smacks JD with the tree, back inside, putting him on the table but McDonagh powers up and cuts him off!

Jockeying for position...

R-Truth wins by pinfall with a belly-to-belly superplex through a table, forcing JD McDonagh out of Judgment Day.

Katana Chance and Kayden Carter cut a promo on Chelsea Green and Piper Niven telling the champs that their time is up tonight.

Nia Jax makes her entrance and we go to break.

Back from commercial, Nia Jax gets on the mic.

Before she can say a word—

Enter Becky Lynch.

Jax says as much as she’d love to break her face again she has more important matters to deal with, like announcing she’s entered the Royal Rumble. Becky says the fans don’t care, and Nia says she won’t fight because Lynch makes too much money for this company and she’d squash her like the back of her leg so it’s just good money to not fight.

Becky says Nia’s lived her whole career on somebody else’s name, first her cousin and now Lynch, and this gets Jax hot enough to call for the match and for a referee. But when Aja Perera comes to the ring and Becky’s raring to go, Nia slides out of the ring and says the match will only happen on her terms and in her home town at Day 1 in two weeks.

Lynch attacks her in the aisle, pull-apart brawl, Jax lays her out with a punch!

We get video of Kofi Claus showing up with gifts for all the good boys and girls earlier tonight.

Kofi Claus runs into #DIY backstage and they say they want the tag titles for Christmas but Kofi has a Jey Uso “YEET” shirt for them and that has to be good enough.

#DIY move over to see the Miz, who is happy to see them. Johnny Gargano says last week was great and shakes his hand, and Tommaso Ciampa adds that it was in fact awesome.

THE RING GENERAL WON’T BE BEATEN LIKE THAT! Fighting into the corner, off the top, avalance Skull-Crushing Finale but the champion rolls out of the ring!

Back inside, powerbomb, ripcord lariat, drawing Miz back up...

GUNTHER wins by pinfall with a Tenryu Powerbomb, retaining the WWE Intercontinental Championship and ensuring that Miz cannot challenge for the title again for as long as he’s champion.

We get a video package for the Creed Brothers to send us to break.

Back from commercial, GUNTHER walks backstage where he’s met by applause from Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci.

He tells them they have no reason to be jolly and celebrating and he steps away from them to recharge and says he expects them to grind and work hard and finally impress him.

They bicker briefly until Kofi Claus rolls up. Kaiser says he doesn’t have time for his nonsense but Kofi insists that Ludwig take a gift from him. He opens it to reveal a lump of coal as Kofi Claus cackles. Kaiser smashes it on the floor and stares at Claus.

Shinsuke Nakamura regales us with The American Nightmare Before Christmas, a poem about how he’s gonna spend the holidays plotting to stop Cody Rhodes from finishing his story. You bastard, you cancer, you prancer, you nitwit, you vomit, you stupid, your father was inbred, and so on.

Chelsea with nearfalls off a leg lariat, Piper in, Kayden cuts her off with a superkick, tag to Katana, assisted splash but Green breaks it up! German suplex sends Chance out of the ring, Codebreaker from Katana, Afterparty... IT’S OVER!

Katana Chance & Kayden Carter win by pinfall with the Afterparty on Chelsea Green, becoming your new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions.

Ivy Nile is backstage with Alpha Academy getting ready for her match.

She talks about challenging Rhea Ripley and goes off to support her boys in their match.

Akira Tozawa rolls up to talk about his match tonight against Ivar, who appears with Valhalla to be intimidating. Chad Gable says this isn’t what he meant when he said “go big” and Tozawa says he understands.

Ivar and Valhalla make their entrance to send us to break.

Back from commercial, we get a recap of the women’s tag titles changing hands.

The new champs run into a bunch of the roster backstage to cheers.

Kofi Claus congratulates them and they say they got the present they needed already.

We get a recap of CM Punk signing with Raw last week and his ensuing confrontation with Seth Rollins.

Seth is shown walking backstage to send us to break.

Back from commercial, commentary wishes “Stone Cold” Steve Austin a happy birthday.

Seth Rollins makes his entrance and gets on the mic.

He welcomes us to Monday Night Rollins and talks about how he’s gonna set the tone for 2024 by defending his World Heavyweight Championship against Drew McIntyre at Day 1.

Enter Drew McIntyre.

Drew tells Seth he’s proud of him for refusing to turn a blind eye or kiss ass when it comes to CM Punk. He told him the truth as it needed to be said, and that is a real leader. He draws comparisons between his sacrifice and the sacrifice Becky Lynch makes every week and tells Seth he doesn’t want the title, he needs validation to know all his sacrifice was worth it.

To know that all the hurt he caused his family was worth it, and he’ll hurt Seth to get that. Rollins admits he doesn’t know how to feel about Drew because he says stuff like that and he wants to take it to heart, but his actions don’t line up. But he can say he respects him, because after he beat him at Crown Jewel, Drew told him he’d find a way back to the title and he’s done that.

But he wants to know, as much as he needs this, what makes him think the outcome will be any different this time? Is he willing to cheat, to lie, to hurt people, to take shortcuts? He’s still happy to point the finger at everyone else while the only person that keeps Drew McIntyre from being world champion is Drew McIntyre.

Last week Rollins looked a man in the eye and told him he hated him and he meant that, but this week he looks Drew in the eyes and he doesn’t hate him, he pities him. Merry Christmas, he’ll see you in a couple weeks. McIntyre pulls him from the ropes, Seth is ready with a right hand and a superkick! Off the ropes, suicide dive into mounted punches but Drew throws him into an LED barricade!

Punches against the barricade, inverted Alabama Slam into the steel steps!

Cody Rhodes rolls up on the Creeds to thank them for their help and wish them luck against Judgment Day tonight.

Kofi Claus appears to hand presents out to the crowd once again, and Imperium attack and beat him down until “Main Event” Jey Uso makes the save and we go to break!

“Main Event” Jey Uso vs. Ludwig Kaiser

Kofi Claus comes down and hits Trouble in Paradise to take Vinci out, Jey off the ropes, spear connects, up top...

Jey Uso wins by pinfall with the diving splash.

And so we go to break.

Back from commercial, JD McDonagh is sulking while Damian Priest and Dominik Mysterio give him shit for losing to R-Truth.

Rhea Ripley comes up to scold them, Priest says the stipulations were clear and McDonagh is out of Judgment Day. JD stands up to him, Rhea tells him to back off, and Damian says obviously he’s still in Judgment Day... for now. Ripley says they need to make examples of anyone who steps to them, so she’s made a title match for Ivy Nile at Day 1.

Priest and Balor resolve to make examples of the Creeds.

Creed Brothers (Brutus & Julius Creed) vs. Judgment Day (Damian Priest & Finn Balor) (c) (WWE Undisputed Tag Team Championship)

Finn hits a Sling Blade on Brutus, shotgun dropkick, headed up top, Julius cuts him off, Priest with the blind tag! Electric chair, Brutus cuts Balor off... All four men down and out, Priest hits South of Heaven on Julius...
