AJ Styles returns to WWE on SmackDown

We’ve been wondering about the return of AJ Styles, who has been gone dating back to September, for some time now. There were reports that he was set to come back at the “Tribute to the Troops” show, and fans even spotted him in advertisements, but later reports went against that and he ultimately never showed up.

Well, he’s back now.

“The Phenomenal One” made his way back to television on Friday Night SmackDown this week in Green Bay, coming to the aid of Randy Orton and LA Knight in their battle against The Bloodline. Except he wasn’t there to aid the babyfaces so much as attack the bad guys who took him out of action.

We know that because after The Bloodline were run off, Styles attacked Knight from behind, leaving him laid out as he walked to the back. The show ended with commentary wondering what his answer for doing as much could possibly be.

And we will, of course, have to wait until next week to find out.

Either way, he’s finally back.
