This week’s episode of NXT television featured the start of the latest men’s Breakout Tournament. That meant a segment where each of the eight wrestlers in the tournament were introduced and given their chance to get their name out there in advance of getting into the ring to square up.
Of course, not all of those eight will be participating anymore because Lexis King showed up with a chair and put it to poor Trey Bearhill’s back:
Later, Ava, who seems to simply be an assistant for Shawn Michaels these days, informed King that he will be taking Bearhill’s place in the tournament:
Meanwhile, there were two matches that took place this evening. On one side of the bracket, Oba Femi took down Myles Borne while Riley Osborne got past Keanu Carver on the other.
Here’s the updated bracket, with King now slotted in:
He becomes an instant favorite, but that could be used to get a new guy over too.
