WWE RAW RESULTS AND LIVE BLOG FOR NOV. 6

History recalls during times of war, legend has been traced back inside these castle walls, where soldiers came to hide in barrels filled with wine, but me? I’m just here to liveblog this pro wrestling show for you, folks.

The show opens with a recap of Crown Jewel.

Thence to the intro video.

Seth Rollins makes his entrance and gets on the mic.

He welcomes us to the show and has a few things to say, first among which is “thank you” to Drew McIntyre, who is the reason he’s not 100% right now, but that he’s a little bit better than he was before Saturday. He talks about Damian Priest’s attempted cash-in, and he’d like to thank Sami Zayn in person and invites him down.

Enter Sami Zayn.

Seth jokes that he half-expected him to come to ringside with the briefcase after taking it home on Saturday and asks if Adam Pearce made him return it. Sami says that’s exactly what happened and Rollins talks about how he’s been thinking about how he can repay Zayn and Sami cuts him off to say he’s glad he appreciates it but that’s not why he did what he did.

He’s been listening to the Judgment Day talk about running Monday Night Raw for months and months and the only thing that keeps that from being exactly true is that they don’t hold the World Heavyweight Championship and if they win it they become the Bloodline 2.0 and Zayn will not let that happen.

Seth leads the crowd in a round of applause and says he’s always appreciated that Sami stands up for what he thinks is right no matter the odds. But sometimes people like him don’t get what they deserve, and the thing is Judgment Day doesn’t run Raw, Rollins does, and as long as he’s the champion around here, that Money in the Bank contract isn’t the only way to get a title shot.

He says the reason he knows Pierce made him give the briefcase back is because he went to see Adam Pearce for the same reason he wanted to thank Sami in person tonight. He tells Zayn he’s got himself a World Heavyweight Championship match and all he has to do is say “when.”

Sami paws at his beard and says he’s thought long and hard and he doesn’t want to beat a champion who is compromised and everyone knows Seth isn’t 100% right now. Rollins tells him to cut the crap and asks Zayn if he’s 100% and says guys like them who have been doing this for decades are never 100% but that doesn’t stop them from GIVING 100%, so he’ll say it again, he’s got a title match and all he has to do is say “when.”

Zayn mulls it over for a beat and says he can’t imagine a better place to have a title match than here and now tonight and it’s on for our main event!

Judgment Day are hanging out backstage and Damian Priest rolls up pissed off that Pearce gave Sami Zayn a title match. JD McDonagh tries to offer some advice but Priest berates him and asks if he paid for his Damian Priest t-shirt. Rhea Ripley tells him Damian has it, and Priest goes off with Balor to handle business.

New Day make their entrance and we go to break.
