Two big names being promoted for SmackDown this Friday

We loaded up the Survivor Series fallout edition of Raw, promising Randy Orton, CM Punk, and a commercial-free first hour. What about this week’s SmackDown?

It’s where we get more follow-up to last Saturday’s women’s WarGames, since everyone involved except for Becky Lynch is on the blue roster and Damage CTRL has been Friday’s answer to The Judgment Day lately. It won’t involve Undisputed WWE Universal champion Roman Reigns, who isn’t expected back until closer to Royal Rumble.

They did announce the return of SmackDown’s other wayward titleholder, however. United States champion Logan Paul will on the Dec. 1 episode... to “look for his first challenger” (aka perhaps to heat up his feud with fellow Megastar LA Knight)?

But that’s (probably) not all! The venue for this week’s show — Brooklyn’s Barclays Center — is also advertising The Viper for Friday. It’s possible Orton could be there for a dark match, but PWInsider points out Cody Rhodes vs. Dominik Mysterio and Seth Rollins vs. Shinsuke Nakamura were already being promoted and those are definitely not for television. So it seems plausible Randy will be hunting The Bloodline and Judgement Day simultaneously.

We’ll see how it all goes down at the end of the week.
