The men’s & women’s Tag titles aren’t currently in the plans for Survivor Series this weekend, which isn’t terribly surprising. The men’s belts are defended on premium live events fairly routinely, but certainly aren’t guaranteed a spot. The women’s have only made it onto one this year (Money in the Bank).
But they are still in WWE’s plans. Raw next Monday (Nov. 27) will have a Women’s Tag title match, and determine who will will challenge the winners of Damian Priest & Finn Bálor’s defense against Street Profits Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins on this Friday’s SmackDown.
On the women’s side, Natalya & Tegan Nox won a 4way for the right to challenge champs Chelsea Green & Piper Niven. They beat Kayden Carter & Katana Chance, Candice LeRae & Indi Hartwell, and Maxxine Dupri & Ivy Nile in match set-up by General Manager Adam Pearce to settle the argument of which team should be #1 contenders.
It was announced on Raw Talk that they’ll get their shot next week on Raw.
Pearce’s decision riled up the teams in the men’s tag division, so he’s also going to give them a chance to fight it out. In this case, he’s bringing back Tag Team Turmoil — an elimination match usually contested gauntlet-style — to determine the #1 contenders. The New Day’s Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods, Indus Sher (Veer Mahaan & Sanga), Akira Tozawa & Otis of Alpha Academy, The Creed Brothers, Imperium’s Ludwig Kaiser & Giovanni Vinci, and DIY (Johnny Gargano & Tommaso Ciampa) will take part in the match.

There’s also one singles clash booked for next Monday: a beefy brawl between Ivar and Bronson Reed.
That and Survivor Series fallout... sound like a good reason to spend three hours watching USA on the 27th?
