This week’s episode of Monday Night Raw was largely about building to the upcoming Crown Jewel event on Nov. 4 in Saudi Arabia but it was just as much about Rhea Ripley pulling all the strings on the red brand, and I mean all the strings.
She is the unquestioned star of the show.
Ripley was everywhere in Dallas, recruiting World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins (she got denied), furthering attempts at recruiting Drew McIntyre, tending to her man, Dirty Dominik Mysterio, being there for Damian Priest & Finn Balor in their Judgment Day business, and doing all of this while also handling business in the women’s division she is the champion of.
It’s not just about this show either — it’s been the case for some time now that Ripley is the de facto leader of The Judgment Day. There are certainly criticisms to make of how WWE has handled the women’s division on Raw but its champion is the leader of a stable of men, all of whom are champions, who dominate television on a weekly basis.
She IS the show.
