WWE RAW RESULTS AND LIVE BLOG FOR SEPT. 26
To climb the mountain is no easy task, but it’s so much harder coming down. All the torches of the party have all gone dark, hungry mouths surround, but me? I’m just here to liveblog this here pro wrestling show for you, folks.
The show opens with the intro video.
Bianca Belair makes her entrance with Alexa Bliss and Asuka and gets on the mic after a recap of last week’s beatdown.
She says she considered challenging Bayley again tonight but remembered that she’d never make this about just the two of them, and she wouldn’t accept the challenge alone. Belair learns from her mistakes and it ain’t about to be three-on-one again, and last week proved that Bayley can’t fight her battles alone.
So Bianca tells her good luck on getting her title at Extreme Rules, because her girls are gonna watch her girls and make sure it stays between the two of them.
Bayley makes her entrance and says Bianca was hand-picked and groomed to be a champion, but she had to train herself and she’s wanted to do it since she was twelve years old. Belair says nothing has been handed to her and she’s in the position she’s in because she was showing up and showing out while Bayley was rehabbing.
She’s sorry she got hurt, but she’s not going to downplay her accomplishments to meet her at the level she’s accustomed to. Bayley tells her to fall in line like everyone else, and Bianca points out that Bayley hasn’t been here for any of her current run and hasn’t seen her at her best, and accuses her of bringing Damage CTRL with her because of this.
Bayley says she’s got a great idea, she wants to fight for the title at Extreme Rules in a ladder match.
Bianca accepts and says she’s gonna get extreme with her girl IYO tonight.

Backstage, Rey Mysterio is interviewed.
He says as a father there’s nothing like the feeling of holding your newborn and wanting to give them the world no matter what path they go down in life. He’ll always love his son, and under no circumstances will he fight him, but last week he couldn’t recognize the man he’d become.
He knows deep down that’s not his son, that’s Rhea Ripley manipulating his heart and mind, but he can’t let that sway his focus. Tonight he has to be at his best against Seth Rollins, and he knows what a savage he is, and he may have mercy for his own flesh and blood, but he will not show any mercy to Rollins.
And so we go to break.
Back from commercial, Miz addresses a troop of security guards.
He says he’s arranged a prize package worth a million dollars if they can keep a man who he will not name out of the arena, and of course that’s Dexter Lumis. He hypes them up with a chant of MizCorps and they march off to duty.
Seth Rollins makes his entrance and gets on the mic, welcoming us to Monday Night Rollins.
He complains about not being United States Champion right now because of Matt Riddle and says last week he had Bobby Lashley dead to rights but Riddle made him take his eyes off the ball for a single second and it cost him. But it’s cost him for the last time, because in two weeks at Extreme Rules, they finish things inside of the Fight Pit.
Everybody thinks he doesn’t stand a chance in the Fight Pit but he went home and considered things and remembered that he’s Seth Freakin’ Rollins and it doesn’t matter what kind of match it is, he’s won ‘em all. He’s got one thing Matt will never have, and that’s an Einstein-level acumen for the fight game.
It might be his first time in the fight pit, but when that match ends, everybody’s gonna be singing his song and calling him the King of the Fight Pit. He hopes Riddle is taking notes, because he’s gonna give Father of the Year Rey Mysterio the beating he should be giving his son.
Rey Mysterio makes his entrance and attacks Rollins before the bell to send us to break.
Rey Mysterio vs. Seth Rollins
Back from commercial, Rollins putting boots to Mysterio in the corner, referee Eddie Orengo admonishing him and Seth smears blood across his forehead! Pressing the attack, grinding him down, back suplex connects... NOPE! Rey back in it with a slingshot sunset flip for two!

Rey goes up top, Seth gets under him, Buckle Bomb reversed into a Frankensteiner! Buckle bomb works this time, follow it up with a Falcon Arrow... NOPE!
To the floor and back in, Mysterio with a splash, cover for a nearfall! Back inside, shotgun dropkick, duck the 619, up in the turnbuckles, big stuff, 619 connects, to the floor, diving Frankensteiner and again Dominik plays mind games with his father and throws him a chair, kneeling and giving Rhea Ripley a chance to blast him from behind!
Back inside, Seth takes advantage, Blackout, following it up...
Seth Rollins wins by submission with a Spider Twist.
Backstage, Matt Riddle chats with Bobby Lashley.
Lashley wishes him luck tonight and calls on their shared MMA history, saying the two of them know what it’s like in the Fight Pit, but Seth Rollins has no clue.

He claps a hand on AJ’s shoulder and gets brushed off before saying he’s coming as a friend and Judgment Day have achieved so much already, but together they could change this business again. As his friend, he pitches Styles on just having him in his corner against Sami Zayn, since Sami has Solo Sikoa in his corner.
AJ says he’ll watch his own back.
Omos is shown walking backstage with Montel Vontavious Porter to send us to break.
Back from commercial, Austin Theory berates Alpha Academy for losing.
Chad Gable blames Braun Strowman for the loss, Theory complains about his jaw, and says he won’t let Johnny Gargano embarrass him twice in a dump like Canada. Austin’s phone rings and it’s for Gable. Strowman’s voice comes across and says next Monday night Chad won’t be laughing because the monster among monsters is challenging him to a match in his home town so they won’t have to fly his body home for his funeral.
A shook Chad half-heartedly shushes Braun and Theory gives Dozer a pep talk for his match against Johnny Gargano next week, saying he’ll make it Strowman’s last match.
Omos vs. ??? & ???
MVP is on commentary for this match in which the Nigerian Giant squashes two dudes whose names I don’t catch...
Omos wins by pinfall with a one-foot pin.
Post-match, Omos takes it to his opponents on the floor, setting them both on the announce desk and roaring and beating his chest over top of them.
Miz stumbles on MizCorps all laid out in a pile in a room in the arena somewhere. He backs up into Dexter Lumis kitted out in hockey gear like he’s part of the museum, and Lumis wails on him with a hockey stick! Dexter chokes him out with the head-and-arm triangle and pets his face.
And so we go to break.
Back from commercial we get a recap of what we just saw.

He tells Riddle that he’s not a viper, he’s not a cagefighter, and he’s not his friend, and tonight he’ll fall while Judgment Day rises.
AJ Styles vs. Sami Zayn
Zayn backing up into the corner, side headlock, shot off, shoulder block, Sami throws his one up and jaws at AJ! Styles with a tijeras into a dropkick, smashing his face into the turnbuckles before hitting a backbreaker. Off the ropes, Zayn with a back body drop, cover for one!

Back from commercial, Styles nearly gets the Styles Clash but a kick sets Sami free! Corner exploder suplex, AJ leaves the ring rather than eat the Helluva Kick! Back inside, roll-through into the Calf Killer, Zayn reaching and stretching, fighting the hold, crawling and Sami gets the ropes for the break!
Again looking for the Styles Clash, Sami back body drops him to the apron, AJ with a forearm, Zayn does a full five count of hair-pulling and Sikoa drags Styles to the floor for a Rock Bottom into the apron! Stacking him up...
