Advertised for tonight from the WWE Performance Center: the final push to Stand & Deliver — the first NXT show outside of Orlando in more than a year! Cameron Grimes, Roderick Strong & A-Kid battle for the final spot in Saturday’s North American title ladder match, and it’s a trios preview of two of this weekend’s matches when Imperium takes on LA Knight & MSK. Plus, Briggs & Jensen vs. Legado Del Fantasma, a roaring Nikita Lyons, Bodhi Hayward steps to Von Wagner, Tiffany Stratton takes on Ivy Nile, Draco Anthony deals with Joe Gacy ... and more!

WWE NXT RESULTS AND LIVE BLOG FOR MAR. 29
A baby I was when you took my hand and the light of the night burned bright. The people all stared didn’t understand, but you knew my name on sight. Ooh, whatever came of you and me, America’s new bride to be? Well for one I’m liveblogging this here pro wrestling show for these folks.
The show opens with Imperium’s entrance but LA Knight and MSK attack!
Imperium (Fabian Aichner, GUNTHER, & Marcel Barthel) vs. LA Knight & MSK (Nash Carter & Wes Lee)
Wild brawling back and forth early, babyfaces have an advantage but Barthel gets away and turns the tide! The match breaks down, GUNTHER comes in and kicks Lee’s head off! Knight comes in and we go to break.
Back from commercial, Aichner and Lee down and out, tags made and Knight comes in hot on Barthel! Clearing the apron, jumping neckbreaker, LA with a scoop and a slam, off the ropes, big elbow drop but Fabian breaks it up! Pass to the apron, tag to Carter, assisted dropkick, Nash goes for a slingshot but GUNTHER pulls him off the apron!
LA getting into it with the Ring General on the floor, brawling to the back, Fabian turns Carter inside out...
Imperium win by pinfall with a lariat from Fabian Aichner on Nash Carter.
We get a video package for Io Shirai and Kay Lee Ray, covering their victory in the Dusty Classic and challenge to Mandy Rose.
And so we go to break.
Back from commercial, Dakota Kai is wandering backstage looking for Wendy Choo.
She finds her pillow and pajamas all torn up and is wracked with concern.
Ivy Nile vs. Tiffany Stratton
Test of strength, Nile in charge, northern lights suplex into a wristlock, Stratton fights out, standing moonsault connects. Whip across, jockeying for position over a hip toss and Ivy decks her with a lariat! Tiffany with a cobra clutch, Nile breaks free, kick combo, charging forearm, charging kick, deathlock in the middle of the ring into a surfboard!
Curb Stomp connects, Stratton runs away but Ivy throws her back inside only to eat an STO from Tiffany! Sarray comes down to run interference in a cloud of smoke, Ivy grabs the Dragon sleeper...
Ivy Nile wins by submission with a behind-the-back Dragon sleeper.
And so we go to break.
Back from commercial, Tommaso Ciampa cuts a promo.
He talks about when he first came to NXT and he had so much to prove, and how it’s been a long journey with high highs and low lows, from winning the title to his wife having five miscarriages, and the fans have been his constant all along. Together we overcame and created black and gold magic.
Stand and Deliver might be the end of an era, but in Dallas we’ll create that magic one final time.
A video package of Dolph Ziggler’s rise to NXT Champion follows and we go to break.
Back from commercial we get a Cora Jade video package.
Briggs and Jensen (Brooks Jensen & Josh Briggs) vs. Legado del Fantasma (Joaquin Wilde & Raul Mendoza)
Wilde and Jensen to start, side headlock, shot off, big pop-up drop! Briggs and Mendoza in, double whip and they lay Raul out! Slide to the floor, stereo punches, Joaquin runs interference with a wicked elbow drop to the floor and the tide turns! Working Brooks over, he gets the tag in and Josh runs wild with boots and big splashes!
Joaquin with a 450 splash, denied, the Total Elimination hits...
Briggs and Jensen win by pinfall with a Total Elimination on Joaquin Wilde.
Backstage, Indi Hartwell and Persia Pirotta are bickering about their men and who’s the hottest couple again, and they agree to settle it at Stand & Deliver.
Toxic Attraction are backstage walking to send us to break.
Back from commercial, Cameron Grimes is interviewed in the locker room.
He says he’s usually confident but tonight he’s nervous. This is the biggest match of his career, and A-Kid and Roddy are excellent competitors, but they don’t need this like he does. He needs to go to Stand & Deliver because it means more than the title, it means delivering on the promise he made to his father.
Toxic Attraction are in the ring and Mandy Rose cuts a promo.
She says she only agreed to fight one woman at Stand & Deliver but she’ll beat up all three of her opponents and cement her legacy as greatest NXT Women’s Champion of all time anyway. She takes the time out to berate Cora Jade and Raquel Gonzalez for not taking their tournament win on a silver platter and apologizes for not getting the job done with Wendy Choo.
Gigi Dolin takes over and says there’s nobody left to challenge them for the tag titles and they run this division. Jacy Jayne joins the chorus and says on Saturday they’ll walk in as tag team champions and watch Mandy beat three bimbos at the same damn time.
They all hold their titles high but the lights go weird and Dakota Kai rushes the ring! She takes it to Mandy but the tag champs overwhelm her and Raquel Gonzalez runs down to make the save! Dakota joins in to help her run the heels off they turn around and stand off.
Kai is upset at first but jumps into Raquel’s arms!
Carmelo Hayes is interviewed backstage.
He says he’ll be out there on commentary for the main event and Grayson Waller rolls up to say maybe he’ll come out there too. They bicker back and forth and Grayson says he’s coming for the title.
Chase U are walking backstage to send us to break.
Bodhi Hayward vs. Von Wagner
Jacket Time are on commentary for this one.
Hayward in hot with strikes, taking Wagner to the floor, back inside, pressing the attack. Von cuts him off, right hands and headbutts and boots, corner body avalanche, big belly-to-belly suplex! Bodhi with a sunset flip for two, duck a lariat, forearm smash, Wagner catches a crossbody and turns it into a fallaway slam!
Von putting boots to him in the corner, choking him, but Bodhi gets away again, big flying forearm, scoop, Wagner slips out and puts him into the turnbuckles hard! Fireman’s carry...
Von Wagner wins by pinfall with an Attitude Adjustment.
Post-match he goes over to Jacket Time’s booth and assaults them! He takes Ikemen Jiro in the ring and hits the Attitude Adjustment on him, too, before destroying his blazer.
Tony D’Angelo gets a promo where he says it was a bad idea for Tommaso Ciampa to attack him from behind and outlines how you start as a soldier and move up the food chain, and he has to remove Tom from the chain.
Joe Gacy makes his entrance, flanked by Harland, to send us to break.
Back from commercial, we get a media roundup for Triple H’s retirement announcement.
Nikkita Lyons is shown shadowboxing backstage.
Draco Anthony vs. Joe Gacy
Gacy offers a handshake but Anthony is wary and slaps it away! Side headlock applied, Joe slips away, back elbow, Draco with an upkick, hip toss, Gacy hangs upside down in the turnbuckles for mind games and follows it up with a DDT! Slow to capitalize, putting boots to Anthony, stepover overhead elbow into a kneeling armbar!
Drawing him up, jawing, whip reversed, corner body avalanche into a true Uranage... NOPE! Clawing at Draco’s face, block a fireman’s carry, half nelson chinlock applied! Anthony breaks loose with a hip toss, punches, shot off, shoulder block, back elbow and a big suplex for two.
Gacy floats over a suplex, O’Connor roll for two, handspring...
Joe Gacy wins by pinfall with a handspring lariat.
And so we go to break.
Back from commercial, we get some hype for this year’s WWE Hall of Fame induction.
We get a video package for Bron Breakker.
Nikkita Lyons vs. ???
Alas I didn’t catch her opponent’s name but this is a squash...
Nikkita Lyons wins by pinfall with a knee drop.
Post-match, Lash Legend appears on the tron and calls Lyons out.
Malcolm Bivens gets a promo backstage with the Diamond Mine. He says tonight they’re gonna solve their problem and Roderick Strong’s gonna win the NXT North American Championship and the Creed Brothers are gonna win the tag titles.
Bivens says after they’re gonna he’s gonna have more gold than Mr. T.
The Creeds get a mystery text wishing them luck and saying they’ll be watching.
Roddy and Malcolm make their entrance to send us to break.
A-Kid vs. Cameron Grimes vs. Roderick Strong (NXT North American Championship Qualifying Match)
Three-way jockeying for position early, trading nearfall attempts, Grimes knocks both other men down with forearms and we get a stalemate! Cameron cuts Roddy down with a kick, Kid throws dropkicks and Strong blasts him into the corner! Whip across, Frankensteiner, Grimes pops Kid up into a dropkick on Roddy and all three men are down!
A-Kid taking both guys down, diving on Strong, he high fives a fan only to get cut down with a Penalty Kick off the apron! Roddy slams Cameron into the apron and we go to break.
Back from commercial, Kid off the top with a frog splash, all three men down and out and we see the other men in the ladder match watching from around the arena. Strong powerbombs Kid into Grimes and locks them both in the Strong Hold briefly but A-Kid breaks it up with upkicks!
Elbows all around, double Frankensteiner, Cameron off the ropes, forearms, running hot, corner dropkick, diving crossbody, big tilt-a-whirl Rock Bottom... NOPE! Roddy with forearms, Grimes cuts him off with a kick, crossbody powerslam connects, A-Kid hits a DDT and all three men are down and out again!
Back on their feet, trading chops around the triangle, shift to forearms, Strong pulls ahead and hits a capture backbreaker on Kid! Turning knee to Grimes, half nelson backbreaker on Kid, double knee gutbuster to Cameron, backbreaker puts A-Kid into Grimes!
End of Heartache blocked, vicious knee to Kid... END OF HEARTACHE BUT CAMERON BLASTS HIM! IT’S OVER!
Cameron Grimes wins by pinfall with Cave-In to qualify for the NXT North American Championship Ladder Match at Stand & Deliver.
Post-match, Carmelo Hayes cuts a promo on Grimes and says there’s no way he’s winning the title.
Everybody in the match takes a turn talking about how they’re gonna win the match and we get a brawl!
