On a show that featured two tag title matches, both of which featured fairly good wrestling, the debut of a couple big hosses, and Pete Dunne & Ridge Holland turning on Danny Burch on Oney Lorcan, the thing that stood out most to me is something you won’t even get to see in the video playlist I’ll be posting below.
Ember Moon squared up with Kay Lee Ray to kick off NXT TV this week and gave the UK import one hell of a battle. She lost, though, something she’s been doing far too much of lately, and she didn’t take it well.
Later, she gave an interview backstage where she made that clear. It’s been a bumpy ride for her, what with losing not just matches but her tag team partner (Shotzi Blackheart moved to the main roster with Tegan Nox and is now teaming with her on SmackDown). She’s at the bottom right now.
But, as she put it, she knows just what she needs to do to get back up. “So stay tuned.”
You got it.
