If you wondered how Nia Jax and Charlotte Flair would handle their rematch on Monday Night Raw this week, well, they picked up right where they left off by laying right into each other in a simulation of last week’s awkward encounter. A shoot? Nah. A worked shoot? Much more likely.
Either way, they quickly settled into a standard match and the story quickly shifted from Charlotte and Nia maybe having legitimate issues to Nia and her partner, Shayna Baszler, definitely having storyline issues.
Indeed, Jax ended up losing to Flair not because Charlotte was the better wrestler necessary, though that’s certainly the case, but because Baszler kept getting involved and provided enough of a distraction to get Flair the victory.
She is still the Raw women’s champion and the future of the Jax-Baszler tag team is as up in the air as it’s ever been.
Charlotte, meanwhile, was quickly confronted by Alexa Bliss, who hit the ring to say she wants the Raw women’s championship for herself. Flair actually agreed to giving her one.
