Ronda Rousey introduces her daughter La’akea Makalapuaokalanipō Browne to the world

When former Raw Women’s champ Ronda Rousey stepped away from WWE after WrestleMania 35, her stated plan was to start a family with husband Travis Browne. And to heal up from a broken hand, but the baby-making was the main goal.

Mission accomplished!

Say hello to Rowdy Ronda’s newborn daughter, La’akea Makalapuaokalanipō Browne.

The newest member of the Browsey family (Ronda is step-mother to Travis’ two sons from a previous marriage) has been given a name that reflects her father’s Hawaiian ancestry. The internet tells us La’akea loosely translates to “sacred light”.

Along with offering congratulations to Ronda & Travis, this also gives us an opportunity to again ponder Rousey’s future. Obviously the 34 year old won’t be immediately jumping back into training for a return to the ring, or the Octagon. WWE would welcome her back in a heartbeat, and Rowdy’s certainly laid the groundwork for a heel run with her comments about the fans since she left it in 2019.

But maybe wrestling is something Ronda got out of her system with her WWE run? If she decided to stick to motherhood, farm life, and YouTube-ing, it wouldn’t be a surprise.

We shall see. For now, enjoy that baby girl, Browseys!
