This week’s episode of Monday Night Raw kicked off Bobby Lashley getting the WWE championship match he demanded at Extreme Rules against Big E, quite possibly the last time these two could have this match for that title with the WWE draft coming up.
As it turns out, it’s not the last time they’ll have this match. That’s because they’re going to have it again later on this evening in Cincinnati, only this time it will be a steel cage match.
How did we get to that?
The Hurt Business is back!
Or at least it appears that way.
Indeed, Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander both showed up during the match, both wearing Hurt Business t-shirts and clearly operating as backup for Lashley. When Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston hit the scene, a big brawl broke out that led to a disqualification finish, which is how we got to Adam Pearce booking a match later in the evening in a steel cage.
You know, because then we’ll actually get a proper conclusion.
Either way, The Hurt Business appears to be reunited and it feels so good.
