He says he’s flying solo and trying to get in the zone because Randy Orton needs some time away from him to make sure he doesn’t RKO him into the concrete. He jams to Randy’s theme on his headphones when he suddenly stops and the camera pans back to review AJ and Omos staring him down.

We briefly see that Akira Tozawa is still in the ring tending to his wounds as we go to break.

Back from commercial, Akira Tozawa is in the ring and on the mic.

He demands a match tonight, against R-Truth, Drew Gulak, Drake Maverick, he doesn’t care, he just wants a match.

A recap of our opening match follows, because Raw is three hours long. (Three hours long.)

New Day are interviewed backstage.

Big E says first and foremost he didn’t realize they were having a family reunion tonight, and if Shelton and Cedric want to bring their narrow behinds in his business, that’s okay, because when that steel cage goes up, it’s going down! He promised a cash-in and a trios victory, and like Babe Ruth he’s gonna call one more shot— he’s winning tonight, man-to-man.

Sheamus gets an inset promo, saying no disqualification matches are like mother’s milk to him and he’s the best brawler in the business. Tonight’s gonna be pretty ugly, so tell your kids and your pets and your poor ol’ grandma not to watch while he wins his title back.

Mustafa Ali rolls up on Mansoor in Gorilla and asks him what he was thinking signing them up for a six-man team with Jeff Hardy.

Mansoor says Hardy is a tag legend and this match could mean the difference between staying together in the draft and splitting up. Ali is about to tell Mansoor what he’d say to Jeff’s face when Jeff rolls up and he says it’s an honor to team with Hardy. Jeff says Jinder Mahal, Shanky, and Veer are big tough bastards but he’s faced bigger and tougher and he can’t wait to twist their fate.

We see Bill Goldberg hanging out at home and go to break.

Back from commercial we get a recap of Goldberg vs. Bobby Lashley from SummerSlam.

Bill Goldberg cuts a promo from home.

He wants to talk man-to-man to Bob, father-to-father. He hopes he’s a better father than he is a liar, because when he choked his son out at SummerSlam, he had the balls to come out and say it was a misunderstanding, but there’s no misunderstanding, just like when his son was born and he swore on everything holy to protect him from anything and everyone.

Bobby hurt his son, and now he’ll fulfill the promise he made to his wife, his son, and to him, because he’s going to hurt him real bad, and if he’s lucky enough, he’ll even kill Lashley.

In the ring, Eva Marie gets on the mic and says if she had the opportunity Doudrop had, she’d have won the title, and she’s sick of the disrespect. Every woman in that locker room knows she could beat them.

Enter Shayna Baszler.

She gets in the ring, Eva tries to run away but the Queen of Spades drags her back to the center of the ring with the Kirifuda Clutch! Eva Marie taps and passes out and Shayna drags her out over the apron for kicks to the shoulder! Disassembling the steel steps, Baszler drags her over and bends her arm against the steel... BICEP STOMP!

Referees swarm down to check on Eva as she screams and Shayna looks on with the satisfaction of a job well done.

A recap of Nikki ASH and Rhea Ripley winning the tag titles follows.

The new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions are interviewed backstage.

Ripley says it’s simple, they’re opposites but sometimes opposites attract and now they have the tag titles in common. The draft doesn’t matter, because as tag champs they get to go where they want, when they want. ASH says as tag champs they need matching gear and asks Rhea what she thinks about the color blue, to which she says blue is great... on Nikki.

ASH sticks around and pitches capes for both of them.

The steel cage lowers for our main event and we go to break.

Back from commercial we get yet another recap of our opener.
