WWE Extreme Rules 2021 results: What was ‘Match of the Night’ in Columbus?

WWE.com

WWE has officially put a bow tie around its Extreme Rules pay-per-view (PPV) from the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio. The promotion wrapped up the show tonight (Sun., Sept. 26, 2021) with Roman Reigns retaining the Universal championship after defeating Finn Balor thanks to The Demon getting cut down by the top rope mysteriously breaking.

Was it the best match on the card?

The show also featured Charlotte Flair defeating Alexa Bliss to keep her Raw women’s championship (though Bliss was far more broken up about her doll getting destroyed), Sasha Banks returning to ruin the Becky Lynch vs. Bianca Belair SmackDown women’s title match, a surprisingly good impromptu six-man tag team match that saw The New Day defeat Bobby Lashley & AJ Styles & Omos, and so much more.

Be sure to discuss your choice in the comments section as well!
