Charlotte Flair isn’t good at playing with dolls

The match

Charlotte Flair defends the Raw women’s championship against Alexa Bliss at tonight’s (Sun., Sept. 26, 2021) WWE Extreme Rules pay-per-view (PPV) at the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio.

The story

Fresh off winning the Raw women’s championship from Nikki A.S.H. at SummerSlam 2021, Charlotte Flair came out on Raw two nights later and bragged about her greatness. She said every woman in the locker room bows down to their Queen. That brought out Alexa Bliss and her stupid doll Lilly, because Lilly wanted to say hi to Flair.

Flair forgot about Bliss for a couple weeks thanks to a sorta kinda shoot fight with Nia Jax. Once Flair vanquished Jax, Bliss appeared again and made her intentions clear - she wanted Flair’s championship.

This led to a scene on the Sept. 13 episode of Raw where Bliss presented a gift to Flair - a new creepy doll in her own image, Charly. Because in the words of Alexa, “Everyone deserves a friend. Even a narcissistic, self-absorbed bitch like you!” Charly even had a little Raw women’s championship around her waist, so that Flair would have something to play with after Bliss took the real thing from her at Extreme Rules. This led to a brawl where Bliss got the better of Flair. Later in the night, a frustrated Flair tossed Charly into the trash.

One week later, Flair visited Alexa’s playground, where Charly was waiting for her once again. Flair lamented about how she went from the main event of WrestleMania 35 to playing with dolls on Raw.

Flair verbally tore into Bliss, declaring her doll obsession as a desperate cry for help. Alexa responded by saying at least she knows who she is, unlike Charlotte, whose identity is completely tied to the Raw women’s championship. Without the title, Flair has nothing and is irrelevant. Alexa doesn’t need to play mind games with Charlotte to exploit her insecurities, because they’re stamped right on her forehead.

This led to another fight where Flair briefly got the advantage over Bliss and then ripped Charly’s head off. Flair targeted Lilly next, but that’s when Alexa fired up and sent Charlotte packing with a DDT.

The time for playing with dolls is over. It’s Flair vs. Bliss for the title at Extreme Rules. Will Alexa have some supernatural shenanigans in her back pocket ready to use to subdue Flair and take the title, or will Flair be immune to that nonsense and force Bliss to bow down to the Queen?
