Naomi appeared on Friday Night SmackDown again this week, this time pressing Sonya Deville up against a wall and making it clear she’s none too pleased with being messed around. She wants to wrestle, expects a match, and is getting good and pissed off about the disrespect from one of the authority figures on the show.
It was a nice little one minute clip backstage but it’s hard to feel too good about it, all things considered. After all, Michael Cole announced during the next match that Naomi was fined by WWE for her behavior here and to “stay tuned to WWE socials for more” and, at least as of this writing in the hours following the show, there has been nothing on any WWE social account about any kind of fine.
There isn’t anything on WWE.com either.
There’s something here but what exactly that is remains to be seen. It feels entirely possible they could be cooking up something interesting but just as possible they’re simply brushing Naomi aside in a creative way. Let’s hope it’s the former, because they’ve already done far too much of the latter throughout her history with the company.
