The Hurt Business (Bobby Lashley and MVP) won a tag team turmoil match on the Sept. 6 episode of WWE Raw, putting them next in line for a shot against Raw tag team champions, Randy Orton and Matt Riddle. But it looks like the match won’t go down exactly like that, because WWE announced that MVP is “out indefinitely” after suffering a broken rib on this week’s (Sept. 13) Raw:
BREAKING: Due to an RKO from @RandyOrton this past Monday night on #WWERaw, @The305MVP suffered a broken rib and is out indefinitely. pic.twitter.com/PbBPL0W1S7

The above tweet indicates MVP suffered the injury during Bobby Lashley’s WWE championship defense against Randy Orton in the main event of Raw. More specifically, the injury is directly linked to the RKO the Viper nailed MVP with outside the ring, shortly before Lashley speared Orton to win the match.
Regardless of whether this injury is kayfabe or not, it looks like Bobby Lashley will need a new member to join the Hurt Business if he still plans to hunt down RK-Bro for the Raw tag team titles.
