Bray Wyatt’s first message since his WWE release seems to tease a comeback

We’ve heard a lot of things about Bray Wyatt since his shocking WWE release on Sat., July 31. But we hadn’t heard from the man himself.

Until tonight (Aug. 9) when he tweeted this during Raw...

That came out about the same time as a report from Fightful which shot down rumors that Wyatt (real name Windham Rotunda) was dealing with mental health issues while he was off television from the Raw after WrestleMania 37 until his release. Rather, the site says Bray “had family engagements already scheduled for May and June,” and “was working on adding creative elements to his character” during his absence. While reiterating past reports the former WWE and Universal champ was tentatively scheduled to return to WWE on tonight’s Raw, Fightful also says is “100% healthy and able to wrestle.”

Wyatt’s latest tweet would seem to indicate he plans to show off the updates to his character at some point, somewhere. Sounds like The Fiend’s not dead, but he may be rocking a Japanese folklore-inspired/Darth Maul-esque look the next time we see him.

Who’s going to let him in? We shall see.
