WWE promises talking on Monday Night Raw

In case you were worried the Aug. 9 episode of Raw wouldn’t include wrestlers sports entertainers talking about other wrestlers sports entertainers, you can rest easy.

WWE’s announced at least two segments where you’ll get your promo fix.

SummerSlam’s WWE title program has been built on challenger Goldberg and champion Bobby Lashley responding to each other. A week after their match was made official with an angle where Goldberg speared MVP for talking trash about him to his son, Lashley and his manager will get in the ring and speak on it.

His Hall of Fame opponent is not advertised for Monday’s show in Orlando’s Amway Center, so if this involves any physicality, it’ll likely just be the champ sending a message by taking a few folks out like he did his old Hurt Business associates Shelton Benjamin & Cedric Alexander a little while back. Goldberg is scheduled for the SummerSlam go home show in San Antonio on Mon., Aug. 16.

Everyone booked for the red brand’s Women’s title match on the Aug. 21 PPV will at Raw, so we’ll see if champ Nikki A.S.H. or Rhea Ripley have anything planned for when Charlotte Flair “speaks to the WWE Universe” Monday night. Ripley watched from backstage as Flair lost a non-title match to Nikki last week.

Does the promise of hearing from The Queen and The All Mighty have you excited for Monday night?
