The Usos vs. The Mysterios is official for SummerSlam 2021

SummerSlam 2021 is coming up on Saturday, Aug. 21, at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada. The main events for the card have already been established, with John Cena challenging Roman Reigns for the Universal championship, and Goldberg set to take on Bobby Lashley for the WWE championship.

But hey, the mid card belts need some love too. To that end, WWE has announced a SmackDown tag title match for the card; The Usos will defend the belts against the Mysterios. This is a rematch from last month’s Money in the Bank pre-show, where Jimmy and Jey won the titles from Rey and Dominik. Since then, Jimmy has defeated Dominik but lost against Rey in singles action on SmackDown television . When you add up those results, you get a championship match for the Mysterios on one of WWE’s biggest cards of the year.

• Nikki A.S.H. (c) vs. Charlotte Flair vs. Rhea Ripley (Raw women’s championship)
