Raw keeps wrestling’s streak of first place ratings finishes going

WWE.com

Like SmackDown and Rampage on Friday, Raw was the highest rated show among 18 - 49 year olds in its category on Aug. 30.

WWE gave USA the win last night, averaging a best among cable originals .54 rating across its three hours in the key demo. Raw was way out in front of runners-up Tucker Carlson (.37) and Love & Hip-Hop: Atlanta (.36). With 18 - 34 year olds, the red brand also finished first with a .39 average, well ahead of VH1’s Love & Hip-Hop shows (Atlanta with a .29 and Miami’s .22).

In terms of total viewers, Raw averaged an audience of 1.907 million, and continued to show impressive holds.

Hour One: 1.955 million
Hour Two: 1.936 million
Hour Three: 1.830 million

The downside is these numbers are all down from the prior week’s SummerSlam fallout show. But outpacing the competition is never a bad thing. And only the Aug. 23 episode and the first Raw back on the road after Money in the Bank have had more viewers than last night.
