Ronda Rousey blames the fans for WWE releasing Bray Wyatt

A take from former WWE star Ronda Rousey:

She’s referring, of course, to the chants from fans in Chicago during this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw, which came just days after WWE announced Bray Wyatt had been released. Reports indicated he was told the release was related to budget cuts, as has been the case for so many other talented wrestlers the company has let go over the past year.

There will be no official word on the exact reasoning for the move, so we can never know for certain if there was more at play there, but it’s at least possible and maybe even likely that it was indeed a decision driven solely by profits.

Or, you know, some fans chanted something that relayed a lack of interest in whatever he was doing at the time and/or were a smark crowd simply trying to get themselves over on television and that led to the belief that he was an expendable asset, as Rousey seems to be espousing here.

So, you see, it’s not that he made a lot of money and WWE found a way to simply transfer his character to another wrestler and continue profiting off it without paying him for it anymore (word to Mickie James), it’s that you, dear fans, went into business for yourself at a show a long time ago and screwed it all up for him.

Damn you.
