Brock Lesnar beat up John Cena after SummerSlam went off the air

For fans watching at home on Peacock and WWE Network, SummerSlam ended with John Cena laid out in the corner of the ring while Brock Lesnar, who had just returned, and Roman Reigns stared each other down and set up a huge future match. The show faded away with the promising of big things to come.

A tough night for Cena got even tougher from there.

Watch:

Cena’s no good very bad night at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada only got worse. Just after losing to Reigns and having him celebrate by holding the title over his beaten body, Cena was made to be thrown around and beat up by a returning Lesnar, who gave one suplex, then another, then an F-5 for the cherry on top.

That’s how you send the fans home happy, if they weren’t happy already.
