Brock Lesnar returns to WWE, confronts Roman Reigns

WWE’s Twitter

Paul Heyman has a hell of a situation on his hands.

Just after Roman Reigns defeated John Cena in the main event of SummerSlam (Sat., Aug. 21 local Vegas time, but in the wee hours of Sun., Aug. 22 on the East Coast), the man Heyman advocates for, Brock Lesnar, appeared and marched right up to the man Heyman counsels.

Reigns backed away from the confrontation, and Heyman slunk away with him.

Let’s talk about Brock, though.

For one thing, he looks fantastic. Rocking a full beard and the top knot ponytail mohawk, Lesnar looked every bit the viking.

For another, this is the first we’ve seen of him in a WWE ring since WrestleMania 36 when he dropped the WWE title to Drew McIntyre. And last we heard, his contract had expired - although it was always assumed to just be a matter of time, and number of zeroes on the check, before Vince McMahon brought the Beast Incarnate back.

He’s here. And it looks like The Head of the Table has a problem on his hands. But Heyman’s problem might be even bigger.
