WWE kicked off its SummerSlam pay-per-view (PPV) from Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada, tonight (Sat., Aug. 21, 2021) with Randy Orton & Riddle, the one and only RK-Bro, challenging AJ Styles & Omos for the Raw tag team titles. This came after weeks and weeks of Riddle trying to get Orton to agree to team with him again.
He finally managed to convince him on Raw just days ago.
Now, they’re tag team champions.
Indeed, after Riddle managed to take Omos out on the ring post on the outside, and then ate got himself laid out by Styles, Orton, in the ring alone, took care of business when Styles joined him there. All it took was one RKO to score the pinfall.
For those wondering, no, Omos did not take an RKO, as they had teased previously. But he did lose the title.
