The main show kicks off with the usual hype reel video package, this time naturally enough all Vegas-y.
AJ Styles & Omos (c) vs. RK-Bro (Matt Riddle & Randy Orton) (WWE Raw Tag Team Championship)
Orton and Styles to start, trading punches, Randy gets a straight suplex and stares Omos down for a beat before moving onto the Garvin Stomp. AJ to the floor for a breather, Riddle tags in and so does Omos! Big lariat, elevated wristlock countered into a sleeper hold but the big man slings him off! Charging back elbow, big assisted tornado DDT from a freshly legal Styles, and we’re in heat segment territory!

Alexa Bliss vs. Eva Marie
Bliss baits Eva into spilling through the ropes and to the floor, back inside, go-behind, standing switch, Alexa with a back elbow and then a drop toehold. Eva with knees and right hands, posing for the crowd, going after Lilly in the turnbuckles, she holds the doll up and paintbrushes her with slaps! Jumping down, mocking Bliss, slapping her with her own doll!
Alexa screams and hulks up, shoulder blocks, Lou Thesz Press, grounded punches, standing somersault senton... NOPE! Drop toehold into the turnbuckles, giant step, Bliss poses in front of Lilly and comes off the top... NOBODY HOME ON TWISTED BLISS! Eva Marie with the lateral press... SO CLOSE! Alexa with a front chancery...

Mario Lopez is backstage and fired up to be at SummerSlam.
He interviews RK-Bro.
Randy says he generally means what he says and it’s gonna be smooth sailing from here on out for RK-Bro. Orton leaves and Riddle promises a surprise for his pal on Monday Night Raw this week.
Damian Priest vs. Sheamus (c) (WWE United States Championship)
Collar and elbow, struggling around the ring, Sheamus with a side headlock takeover! Priest with a hammerlock, a back elbow, arm wringer, Celtic Warrior throwing heavy hands, Damian comes back with a big elbow and Broken Arrow... NOPE! Damian Priest wins by pinfall with the Reckoning, becoming the new WWE United States Champion.
We see the Mysterios backstage getting ready. Dominik apologises for last week but Rey tells him that’s the past and he needs to focus on the fight in front of them.
And now, my darling wife Josie with your entrances:
As they approach the ring, Rey hops up on Dominik’s shoulders for a little horsey ride. They enter the ring and get fight ready. Dominik takes off his little stylized hoodie hood, which is absolutely ridic.
Here come the Usos, full of the piss and the vinegar, brandishing the shimmery titles and clearly relieved to be mugging for actual people in the crowd. And then there’s for real blue laser beams over the ring as they enter and wag their tongues and stuff.
The Mysterios (Dominik Mysterio vs. Rey Mysterio) vs. the Usos (Jimmy & Jey Uso) (c) (WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship)
Rey starting things off hot, Dominik joins in with a dive of his own and we’re rolling! Back inside, Dominik with the Three Amigos on Jimmy but Jey got the tag! Mysterio up top, Uso drops him off the top and he hits the barricade hard! The heat segment rolls on, Mysterio the Younger isolated, he almost gets away but Jey destroys him with a lariat!

The Usos win by pinfall with a diving splash from Jey Uso on Rey Mysterio to retain the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship.
We have another celebrity interviewer, with Damian Priest this time.
He talks about how Sheamus is a bully and he feels good taking gold from him.
Rick Boogz plays Shinsuke Nakamura to the ring for some reason or another.
Bianca Belair makes her entrance and we’re informed that Sasha Banks is unable to compete and Carmella will be wrestling in her place tonight.
Bianca gets on the mic after Carmella makes her entrance and tells Sasha Banks it may not be tonight, but sooner or later it will be, and she’s gonna take her frustration out on Carmella right now.
BECKY LYNCH IS BACK! She hits the ring and throws Carmella out, going out after her to beat her up, throwing her into the steel steps and squares up with Belair! They look at referee Jason Ayers and at the crowd, and Lynch calls for a mic. She proposes blowing the roof off this joint against the EST... BIANCA ACCEPTS!
Becky Lynch vs. Bianca Belair (c) (WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship)
Lynch in with a forearm...

Flair back in, figure four into the Figure Eight, Nikki crawling for the ropes...
Charlotte Flair wins by submission with the Figure Eight, becoming your new WWE Raw Women’s Champion.
Again, dear friends, Josie on entrances:
Seth Rollins comes out in a total Napoleon jacket. Pretty sure for him this evening ends at the Ziggy Pig. And indeed he struts around the ring with a regal, imperial air to him. There’s a confidence to him that we haven’t seen in a while. There’s a real bite in his sinister steely gaze.
Now Edge rises from literal flames like Mephisto. (Claire’s note: And to the Brood theme no less!) This is pretty cool actually. Attitude era stuff. He struts toward edge like a real monster movie. Metalingus hits and he comes alive and begins feeding on the energy of the crowd. He meets Seth’s calm demeanor with bottled fury.
Edge vs. Seth Rollins
Rollins attempting to grapple, Edge meets him with punches and knocks him out of the ring! Seth getting frustrated already, Edge heads out after him, beating him around the barricade, Rollins turns him around and smashes his head repeatedly into the steel steps! Edge gets rolling from there, Impaler DDT... SO CLOSE! Superkick countered into an Edge-O-Matic but still Seth Rollins will not stay down!
Superplex into the Falcon Arrow... STILL NO! Blackout denied, Seth goes for the Pedigree, reversed, Edge with the Glam Slam... SETH ROLLINS WILL NOT STAY DOWN! Snapping Edge’s neck over the top rope, hanging neckbreaker over the middle, back up on the apron... NOBODY HOME ON THE BLACKOUT! Edge puts him into the post, off the ropes... SUICIDE SPEAR LEAVES BOTH MEN DOWN AND OUT IN THE AISLE!
A bulldog puts Seth into the LED boards! Drawing him up, back inside, cover for two! Edge lying in wait... SETH COUNTERS THE SPEAR WITH A PEDIGREE BUT CAN’T KEEP THE RATED-R SUPERSTAR DOWN! Rollins goes up top, Phoenix Splash comes up empty but he lands on his feet, Edge with the spear... SETH ROLLINS KICKS OUT!
Seth hits Death Blow and follows it up with another one, a basement superkick to the back of the surgically repaired neck! He’s got Edge where he wants him, lying in wait, charging in... EDGE ROLLS OVER AND BLOCKS BLACKOUT! LEG PICK, STEP THROUGH... EDGECATOR LOCKED ON! Seth with schoolboy for two and Edge grabs an arm-trap crossface!
Rolling him into the center of the ring, Seth pries his hands apart and Edge just smashes his face into the mat over and over and over again! Sleeper hold applied... IT’S OVER!
Edge wins by submission with an arm-trap sleeper hold.
We get a hype reel for next year’s Money in the Bank, which will be in Las Vegas over the July 4 weekend.
Tonight’s attendance is announced as 51,326.
We get a recap of the preshow, in which John Morrison and the Miz rolled up in a water truck.
Miz and Morrison are in the ring and talking about moist nonsense. They bicker about neither of them having the Drip Stick 2000, and it turns out Xavier Woods, dressed like Razor Ramon for some reason, has the very fancy water gun. It turns out he’s dressed like Scott Hall to do a classic-style survey as to whether he should shoot them with their own water gun.
Woods, of course, sprays them down.
Bobby Lashley (c) vs. Goldberg (WWE Championship)
Circling, collar and elbow, struggling across the ring, Lashley with a shove, off the ropes, shoulder block, duck a lariat, flying shoulder tackle from Goldberg! Body slam, World’s Strongest Slam, Bill draws him up, whip across, corner lariat, whip reversed into a short-arm lariat! Bob turns it around, front chancery, suplex blocked, Goldberg goes for it but Lashley reverses and hits the reverse STO!
Lashley raining forearms down on the back of Bill’s neck, headed up top but Goldberg cuts him off with a press slam! Bill lying in wait, he charges in for the spear but Montel Vontavious Porter pulls his man out of the ring! Goldberg rus around the ring... SPEAR ON THE FLOOR! Back inside, ready for the spear again but Lashley rolls out and MVP cheap shots the challenger!
Bob with a chop block, lying in wait, he’s looking for the Hurt Lock, Bill fighting it, back elbows to block! Lashley waiting, Goldberg rolls out of the ring, Bob after him, fireman’s carry and he rams Bill into the ringpost! He picks him up and does it again! Back inside, Goldberg’s knee gives out on him and referee Chad Patton wants to stop the match!
Bill insists he can get up but falls down and Patton calls it...
Bobby Lashley wins by referee stoppage, retaining the WWE Championship.
Post-match, Lashley gets a chair and attacks Goldberg’s leg! He keeps smashing him and Gage Goldberg runs in, but Bob takes him out with the Hurt Lock! MVP gets on the mic and says there’s no way Lashley could have known it was Gage attacking, and Bill crawls over to tend to his son.
We get an ad for Extreme Rules, set for Sept. 26.
John Cena vs. Roman Reigns (c) (WWE Universal Championship)
Circling, collar and elbow, Cena with a side headlock, shot off, shoulder block, back to the lockup, another headlock, this tie John counters to a pin for two! Reigns with a right hand, jawing at the crowd, demanding to be acknowledged, staying in control as Cena tries to steal a pin, pressing the attack with a straight suplex for two!
Another suplex, action to the floor, Reigns in control, taking time to taunt and pose and referee Dan Engler warns him to return to the ring or be counted out. Smashing John’s face into the steps, he gets the title belt from Paul Heyman and holds it high. Cena back inside, Roman meets him, small package... SO CLOSE! Reigns with a lariat, John wants the Attitude Adjustment but Reigns counters into a DDT for two!
Jawing at the camera, when he returns to Cena he regains control with punches, off the ropes... ROMAN CUTS HIM OFF WITH THE BIG SLICING RIGHT! Schoolboy, no dice, Reigns has him in a sleeper hold in the middle of the ring! John flagging, crumpling to the mat, he posts back to his feet and Roman sinks the hooks in! Down on one knee, the bodyscissors slips off but Cena’s fading!
John finds the will to straighten up and get back to his feet, the bodyscissors comes back on but he counters by ramming the Big Dog into the turnbuckles! That’s the show, folks.
