Peacemaker Cena got Riddle & Orton to hug it out

Poor Riddle is still confused after Randy Orton returned, rejected him, made up with him, then RKO-d him on the Aug. 9 episode of Raw.

And no wonder! Because after what we saw on USA Network, The Viper’s old rival John Cena ran the ring in Orlando’s Amalie Arena and got Randy to share a Team Hell No-like moment with his on-again, off-again RKBro.

Having made peace as best he could (maybe he should have worn The Suicide Squad costume he loves so much?), John went on to team with the #1 contender for the United States title against Jinder Mahal & Shanky. Surprise! The good guys won!

In line with his comments about relying on the stars of yesteryear, The Summer of Cena’s seen the Unseeable One work with a number of up-and-comers for WWE, including Dominik Mysterio, Riddle, and now Priest. Those last two aren’t exactly youngsters, but they could still be staples of the upper midcard and main event scenes for the next ten years if things go right. Company man Cena is trying to do what he can, while he can to ensure things go right.

And get in some cuddle time with Orton, of course.
