WWE’s conspiracy against Sami Zayn hits him where it hurts the most

Despite losing a Last Man Standing match against Kevin Owens and failing to qualify for the men’s Money in the Bank ladder match, Sami Zayn felt like he was on top of the world earlier this week. Why is that? It’s because his beloved Montreal Canadiens pulled out an extremely exciting win in overtime in Game 4 of the NHL’s Stanley Cup Finals.

But Zayn’s euphoria was fleeting at best, because the Tampa Bay Lightning wrapped up the series win last night to eliminate the Canadiens and win the Stanley Cup. It can be a cruel, cruel world, even when there are no conspiracies against you.

For Sami Zayn, though, this devastating loss was just the latest chapter in WWE’s never-ending conspiracy against him. This time they hit him where it hurts the most by presenting a custom WWE championship to the NHL champions:

One day karma is going to turn things around for Zayn in his underdog battle against the all-encompassing WWE conspiracy. But that day is sadly not today, folks.
