The last time we saw Nox on NXT television was back in September 2020, when she suffered an ACL injury. She’s been out rehabbing ever since and now she’s back to get revenge on the wrestler who caused her injury in storyline, Candice LeRae.
That ended up being great news for Io Shirai & Zooey Stark, who were in the middle of wrestling LeRae and Indi Hartwell for the NXT women’s tag team titles at The Great American Bash when the lights went out and Nox made her presence felt.
The distraction proved enough to open the door for the title change.
.@CandiceLeRae & @indi_hartwell's SHOCK is @shirai_io & @ZoeyStarkWWE's GAIN.
