WWE goes back to the nWo well once more

WWE.com

Considering I was born in the 1980s and grew up in the 1990s, I love the nWo as much as anyone. They grabbed my attention right away and while I was a much bigger fan of Sting, I was still siding with the nWo during Scott Hall’s survey time.

One more for the good guys.

Having said that, WCW didn’t know when to let go with the group that put them ahead of the then WWF and now it’s WWE who can’t stop going back to the well. This time, the company is commemorating the 25-year anniversary of the famous faction’s debut with an entire week of programming.

From WWE.com:

The week’s festivities include The Best of The nWo (Tuesday), highlighting the group’s most memorable moments; X-Pac on WWE’s The Bump (Wednesday); and a brand-new episode of “Stone Cold” Steve Austin’s Broken Skull Sessions (Sunday), featuring nWo founding member Kevin Nash as Austin’s guest. All three shows will stream on Peacock in the U.S. and on WWE Network everywhere else.

The celebration continues on WWE social channels, with nWo-themed episodes of your favorite YouTube series, like WWE Top 10 and WWE Playlist, plus Instagram Stories, TikToks, classic videos, photos and more.

Then again, hell, that was a fun time in pro wrestling. Why not try to enjoy it again all these years later?
