Alexa Bliss reacts to Bray Wyatt’s WWE release

Alexa Bliss has been working with Bray Wyatt on-screen for WWE since his feud with Braun Strowman last summer. Her current character is based on her having somehow taking his Fiend powers.

She was one of the first people from within the company to react to the surprising news Wyatt was released earlier today (July 31). Bliss’ Twitter account is protected, so her tweet can’t be embedded, but here is a the text of her comment, along with a screenshot:

“I really am at a loss for words… thank you so much Windham for everything you’ve done for this company. The most fun I’ve had is working with you. Such an amazing talent & the most kind person. I’m just in shock.”

Bray (whose real name is Windham Rotunda) and Alexa last appeared on-screen together at WrestleMania 37. She clearly valued their relationship behind-the-scenes as well, however. And Bliss seems to share a sentiment many fans have today about her friend’s contributions to WWE throughout his decade-plus with the company.
