NXT had been slowly increasing its audience on Tuesday nights over the past three weeks, but that streak figured to end on July 27 with a pre-taped episode that was moved to SyFy due to Olympics coverage on USA.
And it did. Hard to know what or how much to read into it, but the drop off was steep. According to PW Torch’s numbers, viewership fell approximately 27% from July 20, to 502,000. The .12 rating among 18 - 49 year olds was down a whopping 40%.
Next week figures to be more of the same, since it’s another episode on SyFy spoilers are readily available for. They’ll then be back live on USA, with two weeks to go before TakeOver 36.
