After Goldberg stepped to Bobby Lashley and said “I’m Next” this past Monday (July 19) on Raw, I thought the WWE champ had a pretty perfect response.
You don’t belong in the same world as me, let alone the same ring. Get that close again, @The305MVP won’t be able to hold me back.

No thanks, old man.

Phew. Glad that’s over with.
But of course, it’s not over. Whether the short-term interest boost they get from using Bill G. two or three times a year is sound long-term business strategy or not, they don’t get the bump if he doesn’t stick around for a whole program. And the other heel champion is already trying to deny a part-timer a title shot on SmackDown, so... we’ll get the next steps in that program this upcoming Monday (July 26) on Raw.
They’re also promising a direction for new Raw Women’s champ Nikki A.S.H. after she cashed in her newly won Money in the Bank contract to take the title from Charlotte Flair last week. I’m guessing that direction will still involve Flair, but WWE makes sure to throw a few other villains into the video hyping our superhero’s first night with the belt.
Lashley and Nikki’s angles join the already announced matches for July 26, a rematch between Raw Tag champions AJ Styles & Omos and Viking Raiders, and Mansoor & Mustafa Ali teaming up for a tag match.
Sound like a fun way to spend your Monday night?
