Lana joins the cast of The Surreal Life

WWE.com

Pro wrestling isn’t the only form of entertainment that’s currently being flooded with nostalgia acts from roughly two decades ago.

VH1 is rebooting its reality show The Surreal Life, which originally ran from 2003 to 2006. For those who are blissfully ignorant of the premise of the show, Deadline describes it as celebrities “living together and competing in a series of challenges.”

If the idea of watching a bunch of celebrities co-existing under one roof and developing relationships and/or conflicts with each other doesn’t sound appealing to you, then perhaps the inclusion of recently released WWE wrestler CJ Perry (aka Lana) will be enough to draw your eyeballs. She will be part of the cast of stars for this upcoming season, along with Dennis Rodman, Stormy Daniels, Frankie Muniz, Kim Coles, Tamar Braxton, Manny Mua, and August Alsina.

I have to admit, this isn’t exactly what I expected as the next move for Lana after she was cut by WWE. I figured it was only a matter of time until she joined her sexy husband Miro in AEW. There’s still time for that to happen, of course, but she’ll first try her hand at more reality television.

Will you be checking out VH1’s reboot of The Surreal Life to see how Lana fares?
