WWE’s return to the road has meant some cool surprises and a lot of fun. But if hasn’t changed booked patterns that well precede the ThunderDome.
Case in point, the championship rematch - and rematches in general. We’ve already covered this topic when an immediate do-over was announced in the Carmella/Bianca Belair rivalry (a decision that makes more sense now that WWE’s indicated the rematch will take place from the portion of the July 23 SmackDown emanating from Rolling Loud in Miami). Then the pre-cash-in main event of Raw last night was the same Raw Women’s championship bout we got on Sunday at Money in the Bank.
So we won’t belabor the point, but... we will be getting another version of Money in the Bank’s Raw Tag title match on the July 26 episode from Kansas City.

The storyline justification for this came on the fallout edition of Raw. The Viking Raiders teamed with Riddle and defeated AJ Styles, Omos & John Morrison. It happened because Omos destroyed Morrison when he thought Miz squirted him with a Drip Stick. It was actually Riddle that did it, but you know. These things happen in pro wrestling sports entertainment.
If Styles & Omos vs. Raiders II doesn’t whet your appetite, they also set up a tag match for Mustafa Ali & Mansoor. So at least the storyline of the jaded Ali and the optimistic Mansoor hasn’t been dropped like Angel Garza’s rose enemas.
Looks like we've got a couple of tag team partners next week on #WWERaw! pic.twitter.com/TNtI4F1O6O
