That damn near felt like a Raw after WrestleMania show

I don’t mean to overreact here — okay, maybe I do — but this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw almost felt like a Raw after WrestleMania, didn’t it? That’s driven by the fact that crowds are back, a hype pay-per-view occurred the night before (in this case, Money in the Bank), and the show, while it didn’t feature the smark crowd that goes into business for itself, was hot with returns, a debut, and a title change in the main event off a Money in the Bank cash-in.

John Cena showed up to set up a big SummerSlam match against Roman Reigns, Keith Lee is back, Goldberg returned to set up a big SummerSlam match of his own against Bobby Lashley, NXT Champion Karrion Kross made his debut on the main roster, Nikki A.S.H. won the Raw women’s championship in the main event after cashing in her Money in the Bank contract — what a night it was.

Check out all the highlights from the show:

  • John Cena issues a challenge to Universal Champion Roman Reigns

  • Jaxson Ryker vs. Elias — Symphony of Destruction match
