We heard in advance that Becky Lynch would be in Fort Worth yesterday (July 18) as Money in the Bank was taking place at Dickies Arena.
It was welcome news, as fans are eagerly awaiting Lynch’s first WWE appearance since she announced her pregnancy last May. With fans back in arenas, and a ‘Mania-like SummerSlam on the horizon, its easy to fantasy book scenarios for The Man to come back around.
Hell, before Rhea Ripley and Charlotte Flair won the Texas crowd over with a killer match, Bex was being added to the Raw Women’s title scene in Fort Worth last night. The Queen didn’t appreciate it...
The crowd were chanting "we want Becky" & then Charlotte Flair flipped the finger. #MITB

... but that’s a different story.
Folks had a reason to get their hopes up. Lynch confirmed the reports she’d be at the show, and teased being a replacement in the women’s Money in the Bank ladder match. When that match opened the PPV with no sign of The Man, Becky took her troll level to 9000:
Phew, I was so worried .

We should have learned after WrestleMania 37. And she did try to dissuade us. Check out her response to a fan who posted a picture of her jogging before the show.

Never change, Bex.
And if she doesn’t change, we can probably expect to get our chains yanked like this before a few more shows until WWE’s ready to bring her back.
