Nikki ASH wins Money in the Bank contract

New, 48 comments

WWE kicked off its Money in the Bank pay-per-view (PPV) tonight (Sun., July 18, 2021) from the Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas, with the women’s Money in the Bank ladder match. Four wrestlers from Raw — Asuka, Naomi, Alexa Bliss, Nikki ASH — and four wrestlers from SmackDown — Zelina Vega, Liv Morgan, Natalya, Tamina — made up the field.

Nikki ASH flew right past them all to take the briefcase for herself.

It was a ladder match, so you know it had very little structure and was basically a spotfest with the wrestlers simply alternating who the focus was on while the others were out selling.

One of those fun spots:

Bliss was incredibly over with the live crowd, and she tried at various points to use her magic powers to her advantage. That might make one wonder why she doesn’t simply use them all the time and needs to wrestle at all, but I digress. The way the rest of the wrestlers dealt with her was to literally bury her in ladders.

Meanwhile, Nikki ASH is a superhero:

Ultimately, with six of the eight wrestlers battling it out atop three ladders set up in the ring, and Bliss out on the floor under a bunch of other ladders, Nikki took advantage and flew up to grab the briefcase.
