WWE Money in the Bank 2021 results: Charlotte Flair wins the Raw women’s championship

@WWE

Charlotte Flair and Rhea Ripley got their time in front of fans for the first time since fans returned in a Raw women’s championship match at tonight’s (Sun., July 18, 2021) WWE Money in the Bank pay-per-view (PPV) at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas. The result?

A “we want Becky” chant.

One Flair responded to by flipping off the crowd. They ate it up too, though fans at home may have been confused because Peacock blacked it out at first, then came back to it, then blacked it out again, then came back to it. It was weird!

Are we that far removed from the Stone Cold days?

They got them back in the match itself, because these two always get nice and physical with it, and they’ve always delivered strong matches together. Charlotte countered the Rip Tide into a DDT that got a two count and the crowd went nuts for it.

Went from a “we want Becky” chant to “this is awesome.”

The finish saw Flair smash Ripley’s leg in between the steps and the post, then throw on the Figure Eight in the ring. Rhea tried to hold out but the pain was simply too much and she tapped.

We have a new Raw women’s champion.

Follow that.
