Even from a hospital bed, Bayley’s making it clear none of us should expect a hug when she comes back from her ACL tear sometime next year.

News of Bayley’s injury broke last Friday, and prompted multiple changes to the SmackDown Women’s title picture. Carmella replaced her as Bianca Belair’s next challenger, and what was an “I Quit” match at Money in the Bank became a regular match on tonight’s SmackDown - which as Bayley reminds us, is WWE’s first in front of a capacity crowd since before the pandemic.
