It’s not quite Rick Rude showing up on WWE (then WWF) Raw and WCW Nitro on the same night back in 1997. But independent wrestler Kelsey Heather still earned a place in the history books on July 12, 2021.
Heather is a former cheerleader with the Orlando Magic and Tampa Bay Lightning who regularly wrestles for Florida indies Coastal Championship Wrestling & American Combat Wrestling. She’s also trained at Shawn Spears & Tyler Breeze’s Flatbacks Wrestling School. Last night, she became the first person to appear for both WWE and AEW programming on the same night.
On Dark Elevation, she wrestled Leyla Hirsch.

The match only lasted about a minute and a half, but Kelsey wasn’t done.
It wasn’t Heather’s first time working as part of Bobby Lashley & MVP’s entourage on Raw - she’s been appearing on and off since May.
But this is the noteworthy one:

Actually, the work she did for both shows was filmed last week. But that’s part of how Rude pulled this trick back during the Monday Night War, too (appearing on a taped Raw then showing up live on Nitro).
We’ll see what the future holds for Heather. No matter what, she’s got a piece of wrestling history.
